AA call for freeze on fuel duty

The cost of filling up at the pump is a constant complaint from drivers. For some it means having to make fewer journeys. But for others - whose livelihoods depend on getting from A to B - leaving the car at home is not an option.

The Chancellor has signalled that he is willing to act on rising levels of duty. Peter Denby runs a haulage company and he told the BBC how the rising cost of fuel affects his business.

Edmund King is the president of the AA he says he would like to see fuel duty ''frozen completely''.
