Tesco 'fails to meet UK targets'

The retail giant Tesco has announced pre-tax profits of just over £3.5bn pounds - that is up 12% on the previous year.

But the supermarket chain failed to meet growth targets in the UK and said profits were mainly driven by sales in Asia.
