UK jobless total falls to 2.46m
UK unemployment fell by 36,000 in the three months to the end of March to 2.46 million, the second quarterly drop in a row, official figures show.
However, the number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance rose by 12,400 in April to 1.47 million.
The employment minister, Chris Grayling, says the figures are "a step on the right direction".
