Nissan Qashqai to be made in UK
The president and chief executive officer of Nissan has announced that workers in Britain will design, engineer and build the next version of the best-selling Nissan Qashqai.
The project will safeguard 6,000 jobs and represents a £192 million investment in Britain and is being funded entirely by Nissan.
The BBC's Colin Briggs says the car has ''bucked the recession trend''.
