Heathrow passenger numbers rise

Passenger numbers at Heathrow over the last 12 months topped 68 million for the first time according to the airport's operator, BAA.

Traffic at all airports was up over 9% in May compared to May 2010, thanks to the late Easter holidays and the Royal Wedding.

Although welcome news to the aviation industry, Sean Tipton from The Travel Association ABTA says the figures should be put into perspective.
