Beko 'slow' to admit fridge-freezer fire fault
It has emerged that the fridge-freezer manufacturer Beko was warned that some of its appliances had a potentially dangerous fault, ten months before it warned the public.
The electrical malfunction on some models has been linked to more than 20 fires in London alone, and is thought to be responsible for at least one death.
Beko has said it will modify all affected models free of charge.
