James Murdoch supported by BSkyB despite wider criticism

The board of BskyB gave unanimous backing to its chairman, James Murdoch to stay on despite questions being raised about his role in the light of the phone hacking scandal and his evidence given to MPs.

Its shares have fallen sharply in the past month after News Corporation abandoned its bid for BSkyB amid the phone-hacking scandal.
