Athens, Berlin and Paris react to eurozone crisis

The outlook for EU economies is bleak - the latest forecast predicts that growth will come to a virtual standstill by the end of this year amid continuing fears over the euro zone debt crisis.

Meanwhile, markets in Europe have reacted positively to steps announced yesterday by Greece, Germany and France to try to quash market speculation that Greece might default on its debts.
