Ousted Olympus chief Woodford: Ready to revive company
Michael Woodford, the former boss of Japan's Olympus has told the BBC that he is ready to return to Japan and work on behalf of shareholders to help revive the company.
Mr Woodford was suddenly dismissed by the company last week.
He has since claimed that he was fired for questioning certain accounting practices at the firm and raising concerns about advisory fees paid by the company for acquisitions.
However, Olympus has disputed the claims and said he was fired for diverting away from the board's management objectives and policies.
Mr Woodford has handed his evidence to the UK's Serious Fraud Office.
Nigel Cassidy asked Mr Woodford what triggered his concern.
