HP reports first earnings under new Chief Exec Whitman

The world's biggest PC maker Hewlett Packard reports earnings today.

The group's stock market value has plunged more than a quarter in four months after a series of boardroom upheavals.

It is now on its third chief executive in 15 months and it is hoped former Ebay boss Meg Whitman is having some success in turning around the group's fortunes
