CBI conference: 'Credit-easing' pledge by Cameron

Prime Minister David Cameron has told the CBI conference that the chancellor is due to announce a "credit-easing scheme" to help small and medium-sized businesses borrow money.

Mr Cameron told business and industry leaders in London that the scheme would ''pump billions of pounds'' into reducing the cost of loans for smaller enterprises.

The details will be outlined in George Osborne's autumn statement on 29 November.
