Arcadia and Dixons post profit loss

Trouble on the high street has been reflected in the latest results from two major retail groups.

Arcadia - which includes the Top Shop and BHS brands - says its pre-tax profits fell by more than a third in the year to the end of August.

Dixons, which owns Currys and PC World, saw an 8% fall in sales.
