Roads and rail 'to get £30bn' to boost economy

The chancellor has announced plans for a big investment in Britain's infrastructure to give a boost to the country's sluggish economic growth.

On the eve of his Autumn Statement, George Osborne has said up to £30bn could be spent on road and railways around the UK.

Most of the money will have to come from the private sector. The BBC's Hugh Pym reports.
