Boxing Day shoppers hit stores to find bargains

The Boxing Day sales are well underway, with several major shopping centres opening their doors in the early hours.

Retailers are hoping for a much needed boost to their sales - many of them are offering huge discounts in an attempt to hit their underlying profits.

Visitors to London's Oxford Street and Westfield Stratford queued outside many of the major stores hours before they were due to open, in the hope of finding themselves a bargain.
