Financial Times editor on importance of 'two source' policy

The editor of the Financial Times has told the Leveson inquiry into press standards and ethics that it is his paper's policy to have two sources for every story.

Lionel Barber told the inquiry that not doing so lays journalists open to "manipulation".

He also confirmed that - to the best of his knowledge - the Financial Times had not ever hacked phones.
