Dubai hopes endurance motor racing will be a hit

Dubai is keen to make its mark on the motor-racing circuit.

However, with Bahrain and Abu Dhabi already boasting their own Grand Prix fixtures, that makes it hard for the emirate to break through on to the global scene and difficult for local companies to attract talent.

But it has found a surprising niche in 24-hour endurance racing.
