Alcohol pricing no 'silver bullet', says British Retail Consortium

The government is proposing a minimum price of 40p per unit of alcohol in England and Wales in an effort to "turn the tide" against binge drinking.

Richard Dodds from the British Retail Consortium told BBC News that the UK already has the highest alcohol tax in Europe and this new price will not act as a "silver bullet".
