Can Yahoo bounce back?

At the start of the year Yahoo announced it has a new man at the helm and Scott Thompson has not held back in his effort to bring about what he calls "real change" at the company.

Earlier this month Yahoo said its laying off 2000 staff - which is 14% of its workforce.

But what will today's first quarter results reveal about the new management at the flagging dot com?
