Luxury goods are a 'tribal thing', says Anya Hindmarch

British luxury designer, Anya Hindmarch, has been announced as the winner of The Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award for 2012.

Ms Hindmarch started her handbag business aged 19 - and now has 57 shops worldwide.

She was awarded an MBE in recognition of her contribution to the British Fashion industry and is also a UK trade ambassador.

She spoke to the BBC about the state of the luxury retail market, saying that it is "booming".
