Film industry is 'all about economics' says Anil Kapoor
Few Bollywood actors have made a successful transition from Bollywood to Hollywood but Anil Kapoor is one of the few exceptions - best known for his role as the evil game show host in Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire.
With fellow Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu, he came to Singapore to announce that the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, Bollywood's version of the Oscars, would take place in the country in June.
He spoke to the BBC's Sharanjit Leyl about how hard it has been for Bollywood to be taken seriously and to become an international money making industry.
