The economic crisis is 'the best thing for Greece'

As speculation grows that Greece will have to abandon the euro, a Greek entrepreneur says the country's current economic woes could be the best thing that happened to the nation.

John Vlachoyiannis, co founder of Greek software company Bugsense, explains that with Greece having to greatly reduce the size of its public sector, it will inevitably lead to an increase in entrepreneurship and growth in the number of private companies as people are forced to be more creative and innovative.

This is despite the National Confederation of Greek Commerce reporting that the number of small and medium enterprises decreased by 68,000 last year.
