Lord Green 'regrets' HSBC money laundering scandal

The Trade Minister, Lord Green, has said he "regrets" the conduct of HSBC over alleged money laundering.

Speaking to the BBC in July 2012, after the publication of a damning US Senate report into wrongdoing at the bank, its former chairman and chief executive also acknowledged there were "failures" in how it handled the allegations.

However, Lord Green also said he was proud to have worked for the bank for 28 years.
