Maria Eagle: 'I am concerned passengers will suffer'

Virgin Trains has lost its bid to continue running the West Coast mainline to the UK's largest rail operator, FirstGroup.

Rail Minister Theresa Villiers said there would be significant benefits for passengers, but the shadow transport secretary, Maria Eagle, said she was more concerned that passengers would suffer.
