Poor wheat yield sparks price fears in farmers

British farmers are reporting a poor wheat harvest, because of the wet summer which followed months of drought.

The National Farmers Union says the wheat yield is nearly 15% below the five-year average.

Speaking at a food market in Loughborough, farmer Jo Tomlinson told the BBC's Anthony Bartram that the rising costs of feed for farm animals was ''a real worry''.
