China and India lead Asia's middle class growth

Asia's growing middle class is the future hope of many global businesses looking for new markets.

Now a report by HSBC draws a picture of just how big that middle class is likely to be, in both Asia and the rest of the developing world.

It predicts that almost 3 billion people - more than 40% of today's population - will join the middle classes by 2050.

Rico Hizon spoke to Frederic Neumann, Co-Head of Asian Economic Research for HSBC in Hong Kong, and asked him which countries he expected to be the biggest drivers of this growth.
