South Korea's economic growth in the spotlight

South Korea's economy grew at its slowest pace in nearly three years during the July to September quarter.

Growth was 1.6% during the period, from a year earlier. That is down from 2.3% in the previous quarter.

Compared with the previous three months, the economy expanded by 0.2%.

It means that, with presidential elections in December, the debate over how to re-heat the cooling economy will be uppermost in people's minds.

The BBC's Kevin Kim reports from Seoul.
