Tablet sales help boost Taiwan's September exports

Taiwan has once again cut its full-year growth forecast.

The island now expects its economy to expand by about 1.1% in 2012, compared to its previous estimate of 1.7%.

Taiwan's economy is export-dependent, leaving it heavily exposed to effects of the global economic slowdown. But as Cindy Sui reports, there are some hopes for a turnaround.
