How oil spill 'changed BP'

The energy company, BP, has agreed to pay a record fine of $4.5bn (£2.8bn) to settle criminal charges from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill two years ago.

The settlement, the biggest criminal penalty in American history, will not cover civil and state claims for economic losses.

Jason Gammel of the Macquarie Group investment bank, said the disaster had changed BP.
