Burma is 'determined' to attract foreign investors

The US says Monday's visit by president Barack Obama to Burma is intended to show support for the reforms initiated by the government of President Thein Sein.

It comes as the Burmese government hopes to encourage more foreign investment.

Hans Vriens, managing partner at Vriens and Partners, told the BBC's Asia Business Report that Burma is determined to show that it is open for business.
