Autumn Statement: Osborne pledges tax avoidance action

The chancellor has promised tougher action on people who evade or aggressively avoid "paying their fair share" of taxes.

George Osborne said the government had already raised an extra £7bn from closing loopholes and investigating tax avoidance.

Mr Osborne also pledged to "put more resources" into ensuring global firms pay their taxes in the UK.
