Ratan Tata to step down from Tata Sons

Ratan Tata, one of India's most internationally-recognised business leaders, will soon step down as chairman of Tata Sons, after more than 20 years heading the group.

It is the largest conglomerate in India, with interests ranging from tea and hotels to steel and consultancy, and a history spanning more than a century.

In one of the most highly anticipated succession plans, relative unknown Cyrus Mistry will take over the helm at the end of December.

Yogita Limaye reports on the legacy of Ratan Tata.
