Bank of England keeps interest rates unchanged at 0.5%
The Bank of England has kept its key interest rate unchanged at 0.5%, where it has been since March 2009.
The Bank has also decided not to extend its quantitative easing programme, which attempts to stimulate the economy by creating money and buying government bonds.
