Airport delays - could the UK lose out to foreign rivals?

Britain's and Europe's biggest airport hub, London Heathrow, is operating at close to full capacity.

Its owners want to build a new runway, but others are against further expansion.

A review into the UK's aviation capacity is not due to report until 2015 and it could take a further decade before anything is built.

And while Britain delays making a decision, airports in other countries are competing for passengers - which could see the UK missing out.
