New China leaders focussing on 'putting people first'

It has been 100 days since Xi Jinping was named party chief of China's Communist Party and declared the country's next leader.

He officially becomes president next month, but already China has seen some changes.

The world's second biggest economy has shown signs of recovery, and there has been a renewed focus on government austerity and tackling corruption.

Mr Xi has also promised better education, job stability, improved health care, and greater social security.

The BBC's Asia Business Report asked Jing Ulrich, chairman of global markets for China at JPMorgan, what China's new leadership is currently focusing on.
