Will.i.am promotes science subjects

Will.i.am has encouraged young people to engage with science, technology, engineering and maths.

The musician and singer donated £500,000 to The Prince's Trust last year, and a portion of this money is earmarked to promote the subjects.

The singer told the BBC's Simon Jack that his interest in technology had helped his music career develop.
