Budget 2013: Will Osborne's plan fix the economy?

Business leaders have given a cautious welcome to George Osborne's Budget plans, despite the chancellor being forced to slash growth forecasts.

But the Office for Budget Responsibility, the independent watchdog, said that the decline in public sector borrowing had "stalled".

The announcement of the Budget followed news that UK unemployment rose by 7,000 to 2.52 million between November and January.
