Eurostar operating profit 'doubles'

Eurostar doubled its operating profit in 2012, the train service's chief executive has said.

Nicolas Petrovic told BBC News that despite "difficult" operating conditions, expanded routes and marketing the service to travellers from outside Europe had boosted revenues.

Mr Petrovic said the company planned to double operating profits every year.
