General Motors hopes for New York Auto Show boost
General Motors has unveiled a number of new models at the New York Auto Show as the company aims to boost its fortunes, following a government bailout.
The car-maker displayed an updated Chevy classic and a new Cadillac.
Sales of the two brands are crucial for GM as it works to guarantee its long term survival. The company also announced that it was closing a plant in Germany.
