Fullers boss: Beer duty freeze 'a boost for brewers'
Today's Friday boss is Michael Turner, chairman of London brewer and pub owner Fuller, Smith and Turner.
Fuller, Smith and Turner has been brewing in Chiswick West London for 168 years and is a public company still controlled by its founding families.
Its brands include London Pride and it exports one in every five pints it brews.
But the industry as a whole has been hit by pub closures and steep rises in duty in the UK in recent years.
Today business presenter Simon Jack met Mr Turner to ask him if he welcomed the chancellor's decision to freeze duty on beer.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Friday 5 April 2013.
