Hugh's review: Is the recovery underway?

This week's figures for economic output showed that the UK avoided a so called triple dip recession.

The value of all goods and services ( known as GDP) increased by 0.3% between January and March. This followed a slide in output over the previous three months.

So is the economy turning a corner, or is it too early to talk of a sustained recovery?
