Is African art a wise investment?

On Wednesday the auction house Bonhams will hold a sale of Contemporary African art, with some items expected to attract significant attention from collectors.

International investors now have their sights set on developing art centres like Kenya - but is buying African art a wise move for those looking to make a profit?

Giles Peppiatt, director of Bonhams, spoke to the BBC about the developing market.
