Co-op Bank's new leadership begins challenges

Co-operative Bank's new chief executive, former HSBC banker Niall Booker, starts his new role as the bank faces questions over its capital position.

Earlier this year the company reported an annual loss of more than £600m.

The Co-operative Group has sought to strengthen its management team, by also appointing a new group finance chief and a new chairman for its bank.

Peter Hunt, chief executive at the co-operatives consultancy Mutuo told BBC Breakfast's Steph McGovern that customers should not worry.
