Banking commission wants RBS options 'by September'

Chancellor George Osborne has until September to come up with the best options for turning RBS back into a "good bank", according to the chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards.

Andrew Tyrie MP said the cross-party group had asked him for "a detailed analysis" of the choices available, including splitting RBS into more than one company or implementing structural reforms.
