John Kerry aims to boost India ties
The US Secretary of State John Kerry starts his visit to India on Monday.
It will be his first visit to the country after taking over the position from Hillary Clinton.
Issues ranging from nuclear and defence cooperation, to new immigration rules are expected to be on the agenda of the bilateral talks.
Trade between India and the US is poised to cross the $100bn (£65bn) mark soon, and political leaders from both countries are keen for closer strategic ties.
