South Koreans visit Kaesong zone
South Korean officials and engineers have crossed the demilitarised zone into North Korea for the first time in three months.
They went to the business and industrial zone at Kaesong to check facilities, power supplies and communication links at the joint venture complex that has been idle since April.
It was shut down by North Korea amid worsening tensions on the peninsula and leaders have been struggling to find a way to reopen it.
