Dubai gallery grows as area is unlikely haven for artists

Now fine art has long been associated with clean, polished galleries - so it is a bit surprising that in Dubai the art scene is taking root in a dusty industrial zone.

But such is the area's popularity, construction work has begun to double it in size.

And in a region beset with political instability - it is proving to be a safe haven for artists fleeing troubles back home.
