OFT investigating 'quick house sale' firms

The Office of Fair Trading is investigating three "quick sale" firms, that offer to sell properties for homeowners.

The OFT discovered cases which saw reductions of up to 53% of the home's market value, amounting to many tens of thousands of pounds.

The trading watchdog says that customers could lose tens of thousands of pounds.
