Disney reports profit gain - despite Lone Ranger flop

Disney have reported a small gain in profits for the three months to the end of June, beating Wall Street forecasts.

But the happy ever after was perhaps cut short as shares dropped nearly 2% in after-hours trading, with the movie flop Lone Ranger hitting investor sentiment.

Media analyst Danny Schechter told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money, "There are problems in the Mouse House.... They didn't do as badly as some expected but they didn't do as well as they hoped."
