Switching banks 'easier' than ever

Current account holders in the UK will find it easier and quicker to switch providers from Monday.

Banks are promising customers that they can move their accounts elsewhere quickly, and they will guarantee to refund any resulting charges or interest.

Banking Analyst, David Black told the BBC people switching providers will only have to wait for seven days before they can start banking with their new provider.

He also suggests some incentives offered by banks can make changing "worthwhile".
