US debt debate fuels Asia market worries

Asian markets are once again on edge because of debt problems in the US.

Lawmakers need to agree by Tuesday to raise the government borrowing limit. If they don't, the US faces a government shutdown and the risk of defaulting on its debts.

The same issue sparked global market volatility earlier this year.
